01
Collection of End-of-Life Equipment.
All the products will be collected through the rental shops network, that will compressively recover 10,000 end-of-life skis, boots and bindings. The equipment will be moved to the recycling centers, where it will be disassembled and/or grinded.
02
RECYCLING STEP
& RE-PROCESSING
Turning complex waste into new resources.
Thanks to a process of homogenization, the End-of-Life polymeric materials will be stabilized in their properties and customized depending on the performance requirements of the models. The upcycled polymeric material will then be applied mainly to ski boots and partially to bindings, while ABS, Titanal and HMWPE from skis will be separated and applied again on new products.
03
PUTTING PRODUCTS
BACK IN CIRCULATION
From recycled materials to new winter gear.
The recycling process will result in the manufacture of 1,000 new pairs of each product. The gear will be connected to the user via a digital platform to track their use and lifespan and to provide information on the composition of materials, parts, maintenance, and so on.
